A graceful example of mid-century classical revival, this molded black & white cameo brooch captures the romantic elegance of the 50s w/ its dancing figures & versatile pin/pendant design.

Style/Era: Classical revival; mid-century; likely late 1950s

Materials: Molded resin cameo; gold-tone base metal

Origin: Western Germany

Condition: Very good used / vintage condition. Some expected surface wear; no chips or cracks noted. Molded cameo is glued into place per manufacturing; the clear adhesive visible at one spot near frame upon careful inspection. A previous owner closed bale loop on the backside w/ a clear adhesive to secure it for wearing w/ a chain, but does not detract from presentation. Secure rollover clasp

Approx Dimensions: 2" H (excluding bale) x 1 11/16" W

Features: Dual-function pin & pendant design; rollover clasp; pendant bale is front-stamped “WESTERN GERMANY,” though part of the mark is obscured by the frame due to manufacturer placement.
