■ About the Authentic Collection
In honor of the Buffalo Check wool fabric that has been produced for many years at the WOOLRICH woolen mill in Pennsylvania, which has been in operation for 190 years, a new project has been launched for the next stage. Looking back at WOOLRICH's past materials, there was a notation of Rich's Original Buffalo Plaid. It was the rectangular buffalo check, not the general 2-inch square check. Rich's Original Buffalo Plaid was produced for many years as a wool fabric for shirts from around 1949.

■ About the Product
In this project, Rich's Original Buffalo Plaid has been replaced with a more versatile cotton flannel material, and a simple buffalo check shirt has been created so that more customers can wear it regardless of the season.

Using triple-twisted yarn (usually two threads are twisted together, but this time three threads are twisted together and woven into a broken weave on a shuttle loom). Woolrich Japan's original fabric has been developed, which combines a dry surface feel that increases with each wash and a comfortable feel due to the slight brushing on the back side only.

The buttons are original, reproducing the rimmed two-hole round shape that Woolrich used in the 1950s.
In terms of details, it is finished with a classic approach while being simple, such as the separate fabric treatment on the back of the front placket, the side seam sewing (two-needle rolled seam) and the hem treatment with a gusset, and the flap pocket in a slightly lowered position.

The Rich's buffalo plaids shirts, which become more flavorful with repeated wear and washing, have been completed, the ultimate flannel shirt.
