This Canon PowerShot SX740 HS is in excellent physical and functional condition and has been well taken care of. The camera body is clean, all buttons and settings work perfectly, and it delivers the sharp photos, 40x optical zoom, and smooth 4K video the SX740 is known for.
Everything on the camera works exactly as it should.
The only thing to note is a minor lens-cover quirk: when powering on, the lens shutter sometimes doesn’t fully open on its own. It does open easily with a gentle nudge, and once opened, the camera functions normally with no impact on photo or video quality. This is a common cosmetic issue on many compact Canon models and does not affect actual performance.
